Senior Full-Stack Engineer

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to help shape the core product experience at Reordinal. You'll work across our Next.js frontend and Express/TypeScript backend, building features that thousands of recruiters rely on daily to make better hiring decisions.

This is a high-impact role where you'll own features end-to-end — from database schema design to pixel-perfect UI. You'll collaborate closely with our product and design teams to ship things that are fast, reliable, and a pleasure to use.

What You'll Do

• Design and build full-stack features across our Next.js frontend and Express/TypeScript API
• Own the architecture of core platform capabilities — job management, applicant pipelines, team collaboration
• Improve application performance, reliability, and developer experience
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in thoughtful code reviews
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards and practices
• Collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into elegant technical solutions
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response for production systems

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience building web applications with TypeScript
• Strong proficiency with React/Next.js and Node.js/Express
• Deep understanding of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases — schema design, query optimization, migrations
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Comfort working across the stack and making pragmatic trade-offs between speed and quality
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production monitoring

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI/ML integration in production applications
• Background in building SaaS platforms or developer tools
• Familiarity with browser extension development
• Experience with resume parsing, NLP, or document processing
• Contributions to open-source projects
